Feature geometries were validated via cluster analysis to reduce duplicate nodes, though some duplication of parent features may still exist. This dataset represents an ongoing compilation of subsurface, energy, and mining geologic data. It is complete for all source documents processed, standardized, and integrated into the database to date. Omissions may exist where historical records are physically degraded, undergo active digitization, or await quality control verification. For well data in Nevada, there is a 5-year moratorium on Geothermal subsurface data, and 1-year on Oil and Gas, per NRS 534A.031 and NAC 522.540. Database materialized views are refreshed periodically to reflect newly processed records. Acquired multiple public domain geological and subsurface datasets.
